Mommy Top Forty

I’m a broken record. If I were to write down what I say every day, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the same phrases pop up.

 Phrases like:

 “Stop tattling, please.”

“Wipe your butt.”

“Wash your hands.”

“We don’t eat Legos.”

“We do eat peas.”

“Don’t drown your sister, please.”

“If you throw the monkey one more time…”

“The pillows are not for throwing. Yes, I know I call them throw pillows, but that’s not to be taken literally.”

“Eat it. It’s good for you.”

“Eat it. It’s not disgusting.”

“Eat it or else you’ll starve.”

“Eat it or Mommy’s going to cry.”

“What made you think stuffing a bean bag in your sister’s mouth was a good idea?”

“Don’t climb the counters.”

“Don’t climb the bookcases.”

“Don’t walk on the back of the couch. I don’t care if you’re a ninja.”

“Does it look like I’m joking right now?”

“No biting.”

“Why did you tell your sister about cannibalism?”

“Stop chewing on my arm.”

“Luke Skywalker eats his vegetables. Always.”

“I love you, baby.”

How about you? Are you a broken record? Please tell me I’m not the only one constantly saying the same thing over and over and over and over….
